Be on the front line of disaster by helping to prepare for the next unforeseen event. Youth Volunteers in the Biomedical Services Summer Youth Corps program help save lives by volunteering for 10 shifts as Youth Blood Donor Ambassadors between June 15 and August 31.

LOCATIONS VARY - Youth will sign up online and choose the locations and times that best fit their schedule. Blood drives are held through the Los Angeles Region area. Youth will provide their own transportation to the volunteer events they choose. The program is open for youth between 13 and 24 years of age. Parental consent is required for youth under 18. Mandatory training is provided to all Summer Youth Corps participants. Most Blood Drives take place during the day, Monday-Friday, and occasionally on weekends.
