This hospital runs a program for teens 14-18 years of age during the summer. Students must be available at least 6 of the 8 weeks of the program and commit to volunteering at least 48 hours total (full details on qualifications available in the application). Teens who have volunteered during the summer may volunteer during the school year. Volunteer placement is based on skills, interests, and availability. College applicants are required to meet the 6 month (or two semester) minimum commitment. Volunteers must complete an online application. Please see the more information link. Applicants who are offered a volunteer role will be required to: Complete Hospital Orientation Complete HIPAA Training Provide proof of childhood immunizations Provide documentation of a current (within 12 months) PPD test Provide documentation of Flu vaccine (during flu season only) Complete an authorization for Criminal Background Check
