Special Details
This mobile tutoring organization has tutoring opportunities in East LA, Boyle Heights, Alhambra, Rosemead, El Monte, Whittier, Santa Fe Springs, Covina, and Monrovia. Our dedicated and flexible volunteers tutor and mentor homeless students in a variety of settings, including one-on-one tutoring and group settings at local shelters, one-on-one settings at public libraries and group settings at local churches and middle schools. Weeknights and weekends are available. Please note: due to COVID-19 all in-person tutoring and trainings are suspended, the organization is not processing new applications. For the moment, they are focusing on transferring current in-person tutors to online tutoring. Please sign up to be notified when the organization will be accepting new volunteers.
